Drugs not only are detrimental to our physical body, but also our mental health. Overdose of drugs such as Ecstasy and ketamine would damage the central nervous system, resulting in a low level of consciousness. Besides , drugs bring illusions, which makes youngsters become accident-prone. Under the influence of drugs, they may jump off the building or cross the road without paying attention. As a result, drug abusers should kick the habit by themselves immediately, in order to regain a healthy life.

Even worse, not having enough money to buy drugs, those teenagers would be prone to leave schools to find jobs so as to gain money. They may even commit crime in order to feed their habits. Hardly can they have a bright future of their own when their lives have to rely on drugs forever.
Since the situation is far from tolerable, it is imperative to work out ways to deal with teenage drug problems.
In the first place, it is suggested that parents can share their correct view on drug usage to their children so that they will not be lured and influenced by peers easily. Furthermore, it is always a good way to keep good relationship with children by chatting with them about their glee and sorrow, so that children may rely on parents for help when they have query about drug use or young drug addicts want to seek help.
Besides, the government should provide more education on psychotic drugs to the public, especially the impressionable teenagers.
