In the world of hunting and a fair game there are an uncountable number of everyday men, women, and children that love to hunt and fish. None the less that is how our for fathers founded the land we now live on, but at a rapidly growing rate the amount of people who are completely against living off the land are almost to accomplish their goal. There has been an uphill battle against people who want to take that freedom from the rather average American. Ever since 1979 the amount of people joining forces with the anti-hunting groups has almost doubled every year up until 2004, from then on is has only increased a quarter of its size up until 2007.

My dad introduced me to the great outdoors and I honestly don't know what I would do with out the option of being able to go out on a below freezing morning in December with snow on the ground and no leaves on the trees and be able to take a trophy White-tail buck. The sensation that pulses up and down your spine when you see a record class buck is almost un-explainable, its almost like when you know today is the day when mom and dad are going to buy you your first car, and you have been pacing the halls all day at school waiting to go out and get in your knew hot-rod and take her for a spin.

Same goes for when you enter the world of trap shooting with a shotgun, there's just a kind of sensation you get rippling down your spine knowing that you just demolished a clay target out of the air.

Now for those of you who think that hunting is a manner of animal cruelty, there is such a law as fair chase. The term fair chase refers to the fact that the animal has to have just as much advantage as you when you have a weapon. In other words people don't get the legal option to drive around in a heated vehicle during deer season and shoot a deer from the road, that's not fair chase. Fair chase is going out on a below freezing morning and sitting for a couple of hours in there environment just like the white tail have to endure and either coaxing a deer to come to you, or waiting out a wandering deer.
