1. To have an organization to function well they need to have a very good human resources. Employees of the company should follow very strictly the rules and regulations stated in the policies. This organization in this case study has a “no attendance” policy. It is a very flexible and simple policy as it does not follow the rest of the other organizations that have a set of very strict rules for their employees. Trust and responsibility is the main thing they enforce in their employees. Their employees were able to reach the company and leave at anytime they want to. They are given these privileges but they were not entitled to any sick leave benefits. This company believes in hiring the best employee in the market and also giving them the freedom. This way the employees will be able to balance work and personal life. At same time, quarterly goals were given to them to fulfill. They are expected to fulfill the goals without fail, if not they will be terminated. Tech Target is very strict on this matter. Therefore, employees from the company reported that they spend more than 50hours on work related activities per week. There is also one more condition is that they must be available when they are wanted by others. I feel this plan that is implemented by the company is very simple. Employees were given the trust of company; therefore they must be responsible for their work to help the company generate more profits. (250 words)

2. This employee policy is a very flexible plan for the employees. However, for the policy to work it will all depend on the industry that the organization is in and also organizational culture and environment. The industry the organization will affects if the policy can succeed. Some industry like banking will need the hours to operate therefore flexible working hours will not work for them. The HR of the organization should have attractive plans to enhance their employee commitment and loyalty to the company. A lot of trainings and development programs should be arranged for their employees for them to upgrade themselves. “No attendance” policy can work well when the company is hiring a diverse group of people. This will cater for them to have more time to complete their personal stuff and then back to work at any time convenient for them. The organization need to hire employees whom will be responsible for their work and it is not easy to employ the best employees on market. There is no assurance for the organization that the employees they hire will work diligently for them because some might misuse the privilege. Turnover rate in the company will be very high
