Hotel Rwanda
Have you ever wonder what life was like outside if your country? different life styles are being lived every day, different countries have problems with living, also food and water and some of the people who live there are being harsh to one another.
In Rwanda, there will be very tragic things happen to innocent people because of what category they were put in. Paul Rusesabagina is the houseman manager of Hotel des Mille Collines, that has a wife named Tatiana Rusesabagina, and three kids. They were living a perfect life, there living was great, nice house but he was driving company car. Not too many people in Rwanda had the status that Paul did and everybody leaned on him from any help they needed.
Things start to go wrong when the president of Rwanda gets killed by a Tutsi. Paul comes home from work and finds that his kids and wife with the mostly all the neighbors are in the basement hiding from the soldiers. The next morning Paul wakes up to the soldier’s arrival. His family had observed neighbors being killed. The soldiers didn’t know that Paul wife and neighbors were Tutsi so, Paul had to pay the soldiers with money and alcohol to let them go. Paul only helped his neighbors because his wife asked him to. Paul wanted to save his only family. He pleased the people above him so if anything would happen he wouldn’t have to worry about the trouble to get his family out of it.
Paul had such a big heart for Tutsi’s, knowing he was Hutu. Paul made calls after calls to help the Tutsi. All the whites had wanted out because, they felt that Paul was a trader and their people were getting killed. As the tragedy goes on there running out of food and other supplies, so he must go to George the vice president of the Interahamwe to get more to keep the families alive. While Paul was getting the supplies, George told him that the rich cockroaches money will soon be valueless because all the Tutsis will be dead, and Paul doesn’t believe that they’re going to wipe out all the Tutsis. Paul had all the guest to called everyone they knew in the UK that possibly can help them survive. Only a few familes were called so they can be moved, but that didn’t work out.
