Most of Stupas were made by sandstone between 7th to 8th centuries. However, the one I saw at Metropolitan Museum was the shape of Stupas, and it was made by bronze. According to the article of "Stupa Worship: The Early Form of Thai Religious Tourism", Wichasin states, "Buddhists living in Thailand and other countries undertook pilgrimage to worship Stupas in the belief that this journey would protect them from all forms of danger"(186). At that time, Stupas were considered the holy place where people worshiped for various Buddhas in order to receive peace and health for their families.

Head of Buddiha, which is a sculpture representing the culture of Southern Cambodia, was made by sandstone between late 5th to early 6th centuries. Its high is seven and three fourth inches, four and half inches width and five inches depth. Buddhism has an important key in the society of India. It made an enduring impart on the local people's habit. According to this head of Buddha, which has the soft and gracious outline on the face, expresses the gentle and introspects temperament of Buddha and the exquisite carving during that period. Moreover, the figure of this art possess the characteristic of Southern Cambodian who were in the period of late 5th to early 6th centuries. Thus, it can be seen that the influence of Buddhism art has been involved by the religious belief.

Shiva's Footprints were made by sandstone between second half of the 7th to 8th centuries in Northern Cambodia. The worship of footprints is an ancient Indian practice that was shared among Hindus, Buddhists, and Jains. Shiva "is the name that appears in the Hindu era, she is generally regarded as the Storm God. Shiva, also translated as" Shiva "is the kind of meaning, a symbol of "prosperity".and "auspiciousness", while also symbolizing the "destruction".
