Evolution means of the gradual process though which organism or living things develop. This is the definition by the Oxford English dictionary. Human evolution means the process which humankind develops from one form to another.
According to History, evolution took place nearly six millions years ago. At this time, scientists believe that the evolution to humanoid species begun with the well known members of the primate family. According to many studies, modern man can trace his origin from the chimpanzees. It took nearly six million years for man to take the form that he is today. This was after taking other forms of being such as homo erectus and homo sapiens. Modern and fully anatomically developed man in scientifically referred to as homo sapiens sapiens
For one to be able to answer the question seeking to establish whether the human race is still evolving, one has to put certain facts to test. It is also key to establish how evolution occurred. A study of human evolution clearly indicates that evolution of man not only begun with the primate family, but also involved the plant kingdom. This shows that evolution is a whole process of nature influenced by many aspects
According to Charles Darwin's theory of human evolution, only the strongest will adapt to changes and survive. His theory is the infamous natural selection theory. Charles Darwin is one of the earliest influential scientists on the topic of evolution. Basing an argument on the point of view of natural selection theory; one could come to the conclusion that human evolution is still occurring today. Modern evolution comes about through either genetic mutation or environmental changes.
As mentioned earlier evolution takes eons to be fully complete, but subtle changes are always visible along the way this changes are either changes in physical appearance of even mental development.
