Introduction
In these recent years, Facebook has been playing a substantial role in the social networking services. With almost 1 billion users, it has been continuously renewing its functions and integrating with other services. Facebook's iconic founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg has been inspiring lots of engineers with his size and scope of vision. Through the widespread of Facebook across the web and social network, many websites and apps start operating around Facebook. In addition, as seen by the businesses, the shift to a more social network has encouraged them to put more resources on advertising. Yet, with the boom in its development, it has aroused the attention of Google since it has tilted the web trend from searching information to social activities. This gives rise to Google+, which is a competitor of Facebook cloning much of the features they like about Facebook and hate about it. Both of the

SWOT Analysis
1) Strength
- Number of users
With the mass amount of users who spend more time on Facebook rather than other side, Facebook is attracting a lot of businesses to make advertisements on it. This causes a huge rise in its display-ad revenue.
- Integration with applications
Moreover, through the integration with other services such as Spotify, it helped making Facebook more popular since they need to register into the applications with their Facebook accounts. In this way, social data about what the users do online can be received by Facebook. Thus, the company will be able to target its advertisements to the customers when selling on and off the site.
- Hacker way
Mark Zuckerberg has been holding this set of principles, by insisting on continuous improvement and iteration on building. This assists Facebook's approach to innovation, organization, management and training. With this principle, employees in the firm can feel more directed, which can contribute to the ultimate goals of Facebook.
- Hackathon
As the cornerstone of Facebook's ethos, everyone has a common goal- to dream up potential new products. With this kind of events, they can keep pushing forward and refreshing Facebook with new functions, such as Timeline.
- Change in management style
As most of the people involved in building up Facebook were young engineers with no working experiences, they often would not pay much effort in building a sustainable corporate culture. This brought about the fracturing structure in management due to high turnover. Nevertheless, with Sheryl Sandberg's arrival between this structure, she instituted more corporate processes in management and emphasized on more experienced managers. Inevitably, she helped strengthening Facebook's management structure with greater stability and discipline.
