The effects on a family with an incarcerated person have an effect on everyone in the family but I believe it has the most effect on the children. Daddy or Mommy has been arrested and is thrown into a world unknown to them. All of a sudden the child's life has drastically changed. Where is daddy? I want to see my daddy!! Young children do not understand why daddy is no longer a part of their everyday routine.
