The average American rush out of there house, head to work, thinking to themselves, "oh god I'm so late" but stop by the Dunkin Donut shop to buy a coffee and a sandwich which takes about 15 minutes to place the order and receive the food. Add another 5 to 10 minutes to the time it takes them to stop or turn to get to or leave the location. One would make this breakfast in less time than it takes to make the purchase at a fast food franchise. The breakfast normally cost about $8.00 and this is according to what purchase. Most people who live here usually say the price for most fast food is cheap but if one should calculate the cost over a period of time; it sure adds up and would cost a lot cheaper if one was to make breakfast at home. Children and especially teenagers have adapted comfortably to eating fast food. The lazy attitude has been passing on to them. They tend to have one of those cups or paper bag in their hands in the mornings, they meet with friends at these fast food places and even if they are at home instead of cooking something to eat they order take out. Think about this. If a family of four live in a house hold each person leave in the mornings each going separate way, each person buy their own food breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner and maybe snack again. This lifestyle cost much more than if they were to prepare food together and they not only will save money but save time and bond with themselves as a family.
