Fellowship Ministry 2013
What is working as of July 2013:
Women and Men's Ministry meeting have consistently been held monthly. Youth Ministry has established consistant youth group meetings on Wednesdays during Bible Study. Pastor Renay Troublefield blessed the church during our Youth Service Sunday July 28th. Per request of the Kitchen Committee, Brother Adhmad has scrubbed the kitchen floor removing much of the dirt and mice droppings.
The current goal of Fellowship Ministry is to establish a ministry unit where each sub-ministry is supported by the Fellowship Ministry Team.
Objectives-
* Establish a Fellowship Ministry Team. Team members will include Pastor Bolden, Lissette Outterbridge and the ministry leaders from each sub-team.
* The FTM will assist with planning, supporting and implementing sub-ministry teachings, fellowships, services and member support.
* Establish bi-monthly FTM meetings.
Men's Ministry
The goal of the Men's Ministry is Colossians 1:8 "That we may present every man complete in Christ"
Objectives
* Establish monthly teaching, fellowships, and male relationships to support the development and maintenance of the many important roles, which involve many relationships such as husbands, fathers, providers, spiritual leaders of our homes, co-workers, etc.
* Establish a young men's mentoring program.
* Improve consistent Men's Sunday School attendance
* Have men feel like they are a part of a unit
Women's Ministry
The goals of the women's ministry
* To honor the Lord by using the gifts He has given to each of them and to develop those gifts to their full potential by serving Him.
* Provide activities that will edify, encourage and enable women to grow in their own personal Lord.
Objectives
1. Increase weekly Women's Sunday school class attendance.
2. Teachings and fellowship the 1st Monday of every month.
3. Fellowship outing every quarter
Youth Ministry
To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ, draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of CFEC and foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person.
