The first Amendment was created for good intentions, meaning to give people the freedom that they believe that they deserve. But what people do not understand is that too much freedom and the American population will believe that they are the president and have the power to do or say anything they choose to. I do not think that all of this freedom is healthy, people should have some boundaries and they should know what they are.

In the first amendment it states that any American shall have freedom of speech. For one, that's not true, but that's beside the point. No one should have the right to have freedom of speech; they do not have control over their mouths most of the time. People are cruel and will deliberately say mean things to hurt one another. Another key fact stated in the first amendment states that people have the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances, which only means the American population has the right to talk back to government when they feel that things are not going the way they like. I also do not think that this part of the first amendment should have been added, because then people would believe that they run the government. That they would be able to set the rules or even not listen to the rules. And people
