For Liberty and Justice for All!

Everyone should be entitled to healthcare, right? Wrong, not all Americans should be given the opportunity to obtain healthcare. If all Americans were given that opportunity, eventually all Americans would be thought to be entitled to food and water, a place to live, and the list goes on and on for nothing in return. Essentially everyone could sit around and do nothing but reap the benefits that hard working Americans are paying for. Although healthcare for all would be wonderful, I believe, not everyone is entitled to healthcare.

Even though others believe it will help millions of people, a socialistic healthcare system for all Americans would not work. There are countless aspects to a socialistic healthcare system that could ruin America. Naïve people believe that healthcare for all would be unbelievable because it is "free" or all sick people will be helped. The fact of the matter is that it is not "free"; the funding for it was created by the hard working taxpayer's money.

If a universal healthcare system was put into place, the American people would experience rationing of healthcare to the extreme. People who already have doctors will be forced to see the doctor that the government determines fit. This could take an American away from the ultimate doctor to the worst. The healthcare system would create certain pay scales for doctors at the government's leisure. This would give no incentives to doctors for being a more qualified doctor for the job. If the lesser doctor received the same amount of pay as the extra qualified brain surgeon, what would be the lesser doctor's incentive for making himself better?

I believe that if a universal healthcare system is created, the government will be able to decide if someone is worthy of a certain operation; which, in turn, can keep someone that smokes from treatment of his or her lungs and heart. Lastly, the people will have no choice in how much they want to spend on healthcare. It comes from the taxes and the government does not tell you how your taxes are spent.

Not all Americans are entitled to healthcare. There are a number of people that sit, do nothing and collect welfare checks. The citizens that are not hard working do not deserve healthcare. Essentially that is communism. The working class is paying for the lower class to live. In my opinion, there is definitely
