Part 1

For those individuals that are planning on pursuing a college degree while still maintaining a full time job, full time family requirements and or do not want to attend college the traditional way then AMU online is the way to go. They have a wide range of degree programs to suit anyone's needs. The courses are very well laid out and detailed to help you stay on schedule toward your desired degree. AMU online uses an asynchronous communication style for learning. Meaning communication between participants who are not together at the same time or place can communicate using e-mail, postal mail or even face book. Another way students and instructors communicate is by using threaded discussions. They are a series of inter-related messages posted in a conversational sequence to an electronic forum. The electronic forum is a component of the AMU classroom in which threaded discussions take place. Some forums are open to all class members and others are used by students and instructors for private communication. Participation is a must! You will receive a participation grade for your involvement in class meetings and discussions. The feedback is excellent! The feedback you will receive from instructors will help you with the correctness of the work you have turned in and reinforce the concepts taught in the course. As the internet or the web evolves so does the ways for students to earn a college degree. If you value my opinion, AMU is the best way to earn a college degree while maintaining your other responsibilities.
