Dear Morrie Schwartz
Morrie, first of all I would love to introduce myself. Well, my name in Omar and I am 16 years old. My life has been pretty normal I would guess. I have many dreams of becoming a great architectural engineer. I am currently enrolled in 5 AP classes. I have known a little bit of your life and also been very influence by you.
Morrie I recognize that I have an abundance of areas to work in life. Throughout your teaching I have learn of aging and how to enjoy many cultures. You have thought me to enjoy life. I know that life is full of superficial material, but I learn that the interior is much more important. One of my favorite virtue of you is the way you always make a connection with Buddhist quotes. "Because if you've found meaning in your life, you don't want to go back. You want to go forward." These words by you have been really inspiriting and throughout my short life I have never known what to do with anything good. I will start enjoying life like you did. Even though, I will never get the blessing to meet you. I know you were a great man, a loving husband, an amiable teacher, and an amazing friend. I would have loved to have been at your living funeral and express your blessing in my life.
Ps: This letter you will never see, because you have gone to a better life.
Sincerely
Omar Lopez
