Gambling

Did you know that gambling is the highest income for any state? Well it is true because gambling is rising and that is thanks to the people with the addiction. That addiction had left thousands of people left with nothing. Another think is the parents that do gamble pass it down to their children and then the get hooked on it. This is a problem and it needs to be fixed because many families are torn apart by this.

Teenage gambling is on a rise because of sports. Sports is the easiest thing to bet on for teens because they are not allowed on the boats. Many people say oh I am only going to bet alittle but then that little turns into a lot. Many teens don't know when to stop until it is to late.

Many states have asked for a gambling education in their school. They say if they educate young people and tell them the effects of gambling then they will know and probably not gamble. For some teens it is too late because they have got hooked. This addiction has parents worried that it will hit their child next.

They have these commercials out that ay if you have a gambling addiction call this number and we can help. These commercials have been proven to have little affect on the viewers. These commercials don't target teenagers and they don't target people that have not experienced gambling at this point in time.

Problem gambling among adolescents has been shown to result in increased delinquency and crime, the disruption of relationships, and negatively affects overall school performance and work activities. While youth present themselves differently from adults, they display similar characteristics.
