A professional dilemma is an ethical problem that requires an individual to choose a particular course of action. Ethical dilemma assumes that the chooser will abide by codes of laws and work regulations. My dilemma that I experience at more than one workplace is sexual harassment. Just because a workplace have code of ethics regulations, that are suppose to provide a safe and healthy environment for their employees, doesn't mean employees understand and or pay attention to their behaviors. B took a stronger stand against the harassment by responding with: it is not wanted, not welcome, and no return on the behavior.
There are times I would be very quiet and not say anything. In a situation like this you, are facing two different signs of negatives submission to conduct your conscience or being intimidated. The ethic in question is to go against ones will in an unwanted way. The company is responsible for B well-being while at work. Some of the verbal language uses were sexual teasing, remarks, pressure for dates, sexual looks are gestures.
My values and respect as a woman was in conflict with the remarks made during work shift were inappropriate. The work conversation via chat area was for employee to
