1. Luther meant that the Bible is what holds the words of God and Jesus and cradles the words of Jesus.
2. The Bible is described as a "library of books" because it talks about many different things and has many different messages. Even though all the books have different meanings they come together as God's Word.
3. The order of the Old Testament in Judaism is Law, Former Prophets, Latter Prophets The Twelve, and Writings. It is structured this way because the Jewish believe that they have to follow these books as law and they only use the books used by the Protestants.
4. The Bible is different from all other books because it is a library of books of God's Word, and the only source from which to read God's Word.
5. God - The circle illustrates that God is One and has no beginning and no end, while the arrows signify that God's action is love and his love is always going out. Man - God created people to love and there love flows out towards God and others. Sin - Sin is failure to serve God and others and only think of oneself.

8. Israel's neighbors are Egypt and Syria. Israel was a strategic place because it bridged connecting nations to the north and south of the eastern Mediterranean region.

c. God creates everything himself and has no help from anyone else.
Distinctions:
a. Man is created last in the first account, but first in the second.
b. Genesis 1 deals with the universe, and Genesis 2 deals only with the earth.
c. Man is just created in Genesis 1, but in Genesis 2 man is formed from the dust of the earth.

One pattern I noticed is that God's creation begins with the most expansive/largest things, such as heavens, and slowly works his way down until he creates man, which is the final piece of his creation as well as the centerpiece of his creation.
14. The creation of humans is the climax/crowning moment of the creative process.
15. The relationship of the man and woman to each other and to the creation is that since the woman is made from the man they will become one in flesh to create life in the form of a child.
16. The impact of Adam and Eve's sin is that they now understand sin and they are kicked out of the garden forever and have to suffer from working to sustain life, etc. The promise/hope is of new life.
