Global warming
Global warming is defiantly not a good thing, though it is a very important topic to talk about and something that needs to be considered for treatment to reverse the effects that have taken place so far, it is also something that can only be helped over a long period of time. Katherine Silverstone is right about one thing, if we do try and conserve on polluting and other inefficient methods of waste, over time our problem of global warming can be resolved by this simple solution of excess resources released into our atmosphere.
Why we have a problem with global warming; the problem is with our O-Zone layer, this important layer which block most of the dangerous RAY particles, with out this layer things basically can act like a giant microwave oven, not only is our environment with global warming an issue, but the health of humans as well.
Back onto the topic of Global Warming, If you have ever watched the movie Water World and wondered why is there no land and all water for miles and miles. Well, the story of the movie is based off of global warming. When our ice caps melt off of the polar ends of our planet earth, the ocean and sea levels will rise, not a whole bunch but some. Another thing that could happen is that weather patterns such as cold fronts and other types of currents could shift and what is warm in Florida could become cold.
Animals would migrate and everything else would become messed up but, not right away. I do not think you have anything to worry about, not in our near future. This I think needs to be worked on overtime, but at the rate that we are going I think we will never get there.
