Globalization
Globalization is the linkages and interdependence between nations and people around the world through trade, investment, travel, popular culture, and other forms of interaction to another so that the boundaries of a country becomes increasingly narrow.
Indonesia is already carried by the currents of globalization, it is evident from the advances in technology these days, especially among teenagers. It's easy to find teenagers or people now using cell phones or other gadgets. They are also very easy to find on various social networks, twitter, or facebook you name it. It shows how the flow of information and communication went very quickly and effectively.
More critical media and the public are also part of globalization. Currently efforts are hard to find the silencing of critical media. It can be compared at the time of the new order, community, and critical mass media will be silenced in various ways. The public can express their opinions freely, but of course there are the rules that restrict it to the opinion expressed is also in accordance with prevailing norms.
Indonesia may indeed economically unlike other countries, such as China. The economy in China can be said to be very advanced, it is evident from the increase in their incomes. In addition, they also become one of the strong state. They are exporting goods to various countries in the world. For instance the Chinese-made goods can be found in various places with ease.
Indonesia could be like China. However, there are several obstacles that hinder it. Some of them, namely, bad system, lack of government support, and a few other things. The bad system can be seen from the absence of good cooperation between governments and economic actors that good economic cooperation can not occur. The absence of good cooperation can also occur in the absence of support provided by the government. Government is also undermined by the numerous cases of corruption committed by officials of exacerbating the existing system. So that the economy can move forward and continue to increase, the performance improvements required by the government and cooperation from both governments and economic actors.
