Hi, there, Boo Boo!
I'm so glad you had a good weekend! Were you able to find any help for the kittens? I hope so!!!!
Bob coming to the game was sort of a surprise to me, too. I mean, Dela and Garrett and I had planned on going (since you and Scott couldn't come!!!), and Garrett was supposed to bring a friend from work (who is single) but that never came together. Then I was talking to Bob on Friday and I invited him and well next thing I knew he was coming with us. We met for lunch at My Big Fat Greek Resturaunt. You know I don't do ethnic foods... So I had a "pita" with lettus, onions, tomatoes, and grilled chicken. It wasn't bad, but of course everybody made fun of me for it. Then we did the game. I drove with him to the ballpark and we just talked. It was fun. Of course, I made an ass of myself. He dips chewing tobacco and I was smoking. Well, I didn't want to use his clean ashtray so I threw the butt out the window (which you know I don't like doing). I told him that I usually don't do that and he's all like, "Well you should have done this" and then he makes the finger motions like he's taking the cherry out. I said, "Oh, pop the cherry?" He gets sort of quiet... and we both start laughing. He says, "Yeah, not the best the verbage to use with a guy." I replied, "Well that's what we call it! When you get the hard part out." He looks at me again, I blush like crazy and say, "I mean, hot part..." Yeah, we changed the subject right quick.
At the game not much happened. We talked a lot. A lot of flirting... but not much else. When he left he shook Adela and Garette's hands and he patted me on the arm (?????). Yeah, so I'm still in limbo trying to figure out if were friends or not... Adela and Garette couldn't figure it out either, but they said we complimented each other a lot (not like, "you're pretty" but instead brought out the better parts of each other).
The good news is he got the job at APS and took it (thank you, Jesus)!!! So, he's going to come in again tomorrow to do the paperwork. So, who knows...
