Abstract

Good Will Hunting is a movie about an abused orphan who has grown up to be just a normal janitor at a prestigious college, but there is more to Will Hunting than meets the eye. Will is a mathematical genius that has not been discovered and due to his abusive past he has a short temper and anger issues that cause him to get in trouble with the law. In his punishment from the judge he is required to meet with psychologists once a week and in those meetings they find out there is a much more to Will than anyone expected. This professor soon learns about Will's mathematical genius and also learns that Will is not the easiest person to talk to. The professor then takes matters into his own hands and calls his old roommate from college, who is a profound psychologist, to work with Will. The professor wants Will to work at the college, because he is better than the professor, but Will does not want to stray away from his normal life, with his only friends. The psychologist meets with Will once a week and soon learns that there is a much deeper story behind Will. After weeks of interrogations and meetings Will finally breaks down and talks to the psychologist. That is the most moving part of the movie. There is an important
