b. Google’s impact on general public:
Google’s search engine has made life very easy. According to the article Is Technology Making Us Stupid, Google has changed the way we handle and store information. (Genevieve) We no longer memorize think or have the deep knowledge people used to. Now if someone wants some information, they just go to Google, get the answer and forget about it. When we read books or really put ourselves deep in something that is when we gain actual knowledge. Everyone uses Google from middle school children to students in universities. There was a time when we had landlines and had to memorize everybody’s phone numbers. That number was so deep in our brains that it was hard to forget. When we use Google, the information does not hit our brain so deep. We might remember it for sometimes but does not gain us any knowledge. To people nowadays, Google is so easy to access, it is on everyone’s phone, tab, and computer etc. People do not care about learning anymore, mostly students, they care about getting things done.
