For a long time we have seen movements across the world. Whether it be your anchist movement in your basement, to a full fleged revolution in Peru. Your goals also remain the same

, it could be just to pass a bill that could help your cause out, or you could cut the head off your leader of your country to install a new government. Every were we go there is always going to be an opposing party in your country. It might be a thinker or a revolutionary, either way they are plotting a way to make what they think a better government. One continent that has many movements going on in its country at once is South America. South America itself has itself deeply indebted to western countries and most countries in it are living in poverty. This caused all sorts of new movements to emerge over the last few decades. All sorts of movements, one particular on is the Shining Path in Peru. The shining path has incited a revolution in peru that is still going on today. There are many more movements in Latin america as well, such as the Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front in Elsalvdor and the Zapatisa army of National liberation in Mexico. All these movements have one porpuse, which is basically to overthow their US backed governments. This essay main focus is on the Shining force, were it originated from and how it made a huge impact in the country Peru. Also how this movement failed to overthrow their

own government and perhaps why, because Fidel Castro was able to do so successfully

in a shorter time period.

The country Peru has seen many bloody revolutions, guerilla warfare and battles. The Shining path is a guerilla movement that is also referred

to Sendro Luminoso. The group itself does not refer itself as the Shining path, but as the communist party of peru. Ther leader and founder is known as Abimael Guzman. Shining path would not have existed if not for this man. He was a philosopher and a professor before he became the leader of this movement.
