Have you encountered Control systems at work or in your background?
I work at a bank where all the employees' physical activities are monitored by cameras that are hanging everywhere in every corner as well as any single click during computer usage. During the robbery that one of the neighbors banking center had, the controlling system that had the banking center activity monitored, were able to capture a picture of the thief and reported to the police for investigation. The Concurrent control system was used in this situation.
Another control system was identified when one of the employees sent customer information to her personal email using her work email. Her activity and what she did was monitored through the Concurrent control system and that result in employee's termination.
Are there one or two departments that need the control function more that other departments?
Departments like accounting and finance need the controlling system probably more than any other department. Accounting and finance department deal with people and organization budget and finance and it has to be monitored by a third party or a department who has no roll in their activity, however, familiar how the job has to be done. Financial department determine the future of the company and based on the information they provide the company can function, produce and progress.
