Apple has issued a statement confirming that certain celebrity iCloud accounts were compromised but notes, "None of the cases we have investigated has resulted from any breach in any of Apple's systems including iCloud or Find my iPhone. We are continuing to work with law enforcement to help identify the criminals involved." This raises a disturbing question at a time the tech industry is rushing headlong toward Internet-based storage, is your data safe on the cloud?

Global Issue: We live in an age of well-documented lives, and we can't fault people for trying to preserve those records. However, this news raises a disturbing question in this technological world what are the devices (online storage, cell phone, Google share, messenger) we should trust and how do people protect their privacy.
How does it relate to design?
Consider that the iCloud accounts being hacked, Apple should rethink and develop a better method to protect Apple users’ online browsing and data management on devices. The invention of iCloud is a great idea, but it needs to be improved.
