Home Depot is one of today's leading home improvement centers, but it still has it's ups and downs. For example the problem that it has deals with the consumers, and not having everything that they need or having higher prices then the competitors. The supplies are slow on delivery times witch will also concern the customers. One of the biggest would have to be the competitors having lower prices and or the supplies that the customers needs. The only problem with sub products and services would be the quality of the product and the lack of people to perform the services. In the economic area it would be the low building rate, for example a small farm town doesn't really need all the supplies that a grater town would need. Home Depot had a thousand stores across the county, witch really is not good for globalization because their just here in the states and not world wide. Demographic is another example of economics low building rate because of the low population and low income areas, which don't great demand for building. Technology is another big problem, because if they don't stay up to date in today's world then they will fold quickly.

Now for the opportunities, for the economic and demographic areas, these two areas have the greatest opportunities to grow bigger. The reason is if they were to put smaller stores in the small towns and only stock what the town needed they would be able to grow a lot larger. One of the greatest things they have going for the social area is the friendly services that they offer. Like when you go into the store they help you get everything that you need and sometimes can tell you how to do what you are trying to do. They also deliver products to help you save time. Another thing is they give back to the community for example when they opened there one thousandth store they celebrated by building gazebos to benefit the local parks. For the customers they have valuable and helpful services and many stores to help them with there building needs. They also provide lower prices or they match they price of the competitors to make it more convenient for the customers. Since they are a big store they can buy the top of the line and sell it for less. Finally for the suppliers, the more they have the bigger they can get and they more items they have for the consumer.
