Observation Analysis
On day one I spent the day with pretzel determining how he acted around me. Pretzel is a ten month old Tabby cat, who has always been inside a house with people since birth. He responded immediately when I called him to come to me. When I walked to the other room and sat on a couch he followed and jumped on my lap and began purring(cat's low murmuring noise) and rubbing on me. Pretzel like to play with strings and feathers, or he came to me with a puff ball in his mouth that he would want me to throw to play fetch. I found that pretzel had a very responsive, loving, and playful personality towards humans.
Next day two, I observed Squirrel-Monkeys way of behaving with me. Squirrel-Monkeys, a six year old black cat, who was once inside a home surrounded with people till put outside for five years. When I would call for Squirrel-Monkeys he would come half of the time. When he came around he would rub and purr on me to show that he was comfortable around me. When I tried to play with him he wouldn't pounce, tackle, or paw at the string or feather. He would either rub on me or stare at the object. I discovered that Squirrel-Monkeys behavior around me was a little different from Pretzels. He was less responsive, just as loving, but not playful towards me.
Then day three, I examined Oreo, a wild, white and black spotted cat that was rescued at estimate age one years old about three years ago. When I walked outside, I seen Oreo run underneath the lawnmower. For a few minutes I called for him and would not come to me but was a bit more spooked of me and ran off. Later when he came back I just sat at the doorstep to see if he would come to me at all. He never would let me touch him even if I put food out or tried to play with him. I realized that he was not responsive, loving, nor playful towards humans.
In my conclusion it seems that my domestic cat lacked most social skills and is hard to tam than the other two raised by humans,
