What are the different legal precedents used by attorneys when litigating employer liability for
workplace victimization? The different legal precedents used by attorneys when litigating employer
liability for workplace victimization are: premises liability, according to Meadows, it considers the
employer/business to be liable if it can be proven that the employer failed to use reasonable care in
securing the premises. For example; you are a security guard at this company and the law requires that
all doors must be locked after a certain time and as the security guard you failed to lock them, the
business may be liable. Another legal precedent is a legal duty, this is when the premises have a history
of crime problems. A business or a person has no legal duty to try to save another person from crime
unless they have some special relationship.

negligent hiring and negligent training is that negligent hiring is when it is proven that the employer
