How I Demonstrate My Freedom
My freedom is very important to me. Many brave men fought and lost their lives so that we can be free to do common things that we take for granted. We are very fortunate to live in a society where we can choose our way of life. Many people in different cultures, past and present, have had their way of life dictated to them one way or another. Many people take for granted little things like going to a football game, playing a round of golf, going to see a play, or even going to the movies. These are all examples of our freedom of accessibility. I love to do all these things and because of my freedom, I am able to do them.
The average American will work for about 45 years before they retire. I cannot imagine spending 45 years of my life doing a job that I have no interest in, but has been forced upon me. In America, we are given the freedom to choose our occupation, and that is something that almost everyone takes for granted. As young children we our taught that we can do anything that we put our minds to, while in some countries this just
