How I Proposed My 1st Love

I still remember that cold February morning when I was sitting in the last window sit of my school bus. 10 min's after I got up in the bus, it stopped at Beltola Tiniali. A young and lovely girl took her step inside my bus. She came and sat right beside me. I wanted to tell her a soft 'hi' but I hesitated. We were half way to school and I took another watch at her. She was sitting like a white dove beside me. I swear, that day I was totally overexcited that such a lovely and beautiful girl was sitting beside me. We reached school after 1hr. of long tiring journey. Some of my friends told me that she asked some of my classmates about me. She might have asked whether I have got a girlfriend or not, or how I am in studies etc. Well these are just my wild guesses. The whole day I couldn't stop myself from thinking about her. Her innocent face, her bright and clear smile made my heart fly to the deep horizon. Two days past, but there was no hope for me. I didn't even talk with her.

The third day was a miracle. She was holding an assignment and I snatched it from her like a dumb and asked her with a natural smile on my face, 'Hey what's that buddy? We were laughing as if we knew each other from many years. I made fun of her and sometimes she used to beat me with her soft hands. And guess what, I am such a daft fellow that I hold both of her wrists to resist her from beating me. I hold her hands for say 1 min. And 1 min is pretty long time, I must say she was merely stunned with excitement. I asked her whether she had any previous relationships or not. Okay let me tell you the funniest part. While we were passing the Balaji Temple, she told me 'hey dude want be my boyfriend?' I knew that was a joke and I cleverly replied, 'I don't want to spoil my name by committing with you.' She was stunned for some time by my answer. We reached home and we talked over the phone for a long time.

The best thing that helped me was that two of my friends proposed her and they wanted me to help them out as I was very close to her by then. I did my duty. I persuaded her to form a relation with my friends but she firmly said that she never saw my friends from that angle. She made them her brothers. Then I told her, 'don't make everyone your brother or else you won't have anyone
