PLAN OF INVESTIGATION
My Theme is Racism however my sub-theme is how does racism affect student in public school? I choose this topic because I would like to highlight the effect racism has on these students and how it shapes the way they think about themselves. According to the professor Nadra Kareem ‘’Black students in our society today are facing so much forms of harsh school discipline’’. They are more likely to be forced out of schools or been push out of certain subjects than other students of the other races. These action are unfair because no students shouldn’t be robbed of their fully education because of their skin colour. Therefore as an English student the conclusion I plan to draw is to understand more and probably learn ways in which to help reduce these problems. This research will also help my English skills of thinking and reasoning more. The three pieces of material I intend to use is a poem, picture and online articles based on my sub-topic.
