Quick guide how to survive a “Zombie Apocalypse”.

Disclaimer. No Zombies or Humans were Injured during the examination and in the

process of making this particular guide.

After watching popular HBO show “The Walking Dead” I was impressed by the absolutely astonishing quality of the series. However, after a few seasons, I asked myself, “How do I really survive such an event?” After some Internet research I present you the few steps on staying alive during such a refreshing occasion.

First of all, I shall present you small facts you should know about zombies and their

apocalypses.

It was scientifically proven that if there was such an infection which could turn corpse to

undead, their invasion wouldn't last long.

As a proof, here is a small list why the zombie outbreak wouldn't last :

1. They cannot take heat ( as they rot faster )

2. They cannot take freezing temperatures. ( The meat freezes and well, you know,

spoils).

3. They have a lot of natural predators, such as small bugs and insects.

4. Biting people is not the most efficient way to spread the disease ( the infection is

spread through saliva, which is not produced by the dead body).

Now that you know a bit more about zombies, follow next steps to actually stay alive.

The first step is the most important and so-called nested step, which means that all the following steps are taken in the process of the first one.

Start with finding a safe place is the key to staying alive in any dangerous situation. In our case we are looking for hard-to-reach places, such as mountains, or islands. One thing for sure about zombies -- they can’t swim, and their balance control could be better, a lot.

While looking for a safe-house make sure that you have all the necessary medicine with you, as well as enough food for at least a month. Best possible solution is canned goods. They last long and are easy for storing and transportation. Going out in the city, looking for food during the undead outbreak is not the safest possible activity.

Next step is actually getting out in or leaving the city, the best thing you can do for yourself and your family is to put on a protective suit: the ones scientists and doctors use while working with radiation and Ebola-type diseases. That way you can secure that there is no way you could have gotten infected through airborne.

But there is no guarantee that your trip will be safe and pleasant, It is a zombie outbreak after all. You should visit bike and extreme sport’s shop. The things you are looking for are sport equipment, armor type protection. You should find protection for arms and legs, if the region you are living in is not a warm place, you might as well consider neck protection.

Those are the most vulnerable areas of your body due to the fact that you will have to use them to escape or defend yourself and neck is the thin place where a huge amount of blood circulates.

Next and the last important step you should do is to make sure you have one knife and gun available, always. Defence is the best tactic, not only from undead but from living creatures as well. Such a horrible experience most likely will turn people you once knew into terrible creatures, predators hunting for possessions of others due to inability to find goods by themselves and fear to face undead on their own.

Make sure that your knife is always at its sharpest. The knife is your best friend -- it will help you not only with cutting the thought rotting flesh of zombies but in other situations, like cutting the ropes, or actually hunting if you run out of food. The knife is   a better solution

than a gun for two reasons: first, you won’t ever run out of ammo, and secondly, it is

quiet. You
