I was running for my life
I remember in 4th grade these people that lived up the street from me carpooled with all of us that lived in the same neighborhood to go to school. I think I was eleven years old at the time sever years felt so long ago. But it really felt like yesterday. I remembered being terrified of dogs. Especially the golden retriever at the Carney's residence.
It was 8:00 pm and I had left to go the Carneys since it was there day to drive. I rang the door bell and the door opened the dog bursted out the door and jumped on me I was scared for my life telling him to sit. The mom grabbed the dog and said its okay she won't bite with a big white smile. I gulped spit. She told me to sit on the couch and wait while the kids got ready.
I sat down. And the mom went back upstairs then I was alone with the dog it kept looking at me and was trying to attack me I got up and started walking it started to chase me so I just ran for my life I ran up the stairs while the dog was right on my tail ready to take a chomp of me I was screaming. The mother came out and yelled "stop running" but I was too scared I kept running then the dog jumped on my back and the mother grabbed the dog. I was running for my life.
