“Ignorance is Bliss”; Maybe true for some people but no so true for others. If a persons mate cheated on them with their best friend, would one rather, act totally oblivious to the whole situation and think that things were just a mistake or take action and cut both people off.
In the above scenario I would choose to know what was taking place around me and take some sort of action. If I stayed around and waited for someone to cheat on me again, that would make me look really desperate and make the other person feel like they can just walk all over me and take advantage. In the end, I am the one who gets talked about and pointed at because all along I knew that the person I was in a relationship was not being faithful and just for the sake of not being lonely I just overlooked the cheating as if it were not there at all, knowing in the back of my mind that it really was.
Ignorance being bliss, I think would never result from anything positive or is never the result of anything positive. The ignorance in it would always be some sort of bad news because if it was not then there would be no need to hide anything in the first place.
Another form of ignorance not being bliss is if someone keeps important things from someone who might benefit from it or need it just because the other person thinks that they are keeping that person out of trouble. The person withholding the information thinks that he or she Singleton 2 is doing a good thing by keeping info from the person who needs to know it. In some cases this might be ok but in others it could cause major problems and the person was better off telling the information rather then keeping it in.
In my opinion, “Ignorance is not Bliss”. I would never act in denial about any situation because in that case it would always come back to haunt somene some how. Just because they knew how things were and never told anyone about what was going on or never stopped something bad either. Being ignorant to a situation only makes a person happy if it is a surprise for something good in life, other then that I think all things should be known wether it might end up hurting someone or not, because when it is all said and done, it might hurt a person even more by sitting around and letting things get worse instead
