I am on a white sandy beach and I am laying in a hammock tied between two palm trees. I can feel the warm sun on my skin and the cool ocean breeze as it gently rocks my hammock. The only sounds that can be heard are the crashing waves and some seagulls far in the distance. I am laying on my back watching as the clouds go by, without a single thought running through my mind. The air smells clean, as I take a deep breath and look around. There is no sign of anything around me- no buildings and no other people- only miles upon miles of sparkling blue water all around me. Not a care in the world.
After standing in line for so long, I can hardly wait to pass through the gates. I am smiling and laughing as I sit in the chair and strap myself in. The employee comes by and pushes down on the bar across my lap to make sure its secure. He smiles and tells me to have a good time. As we start to move I can feel my heart begin to race. Climbing slowly up the tower, the anticipation builds stronger. We stop when we reach the top. Everything is still, as I anxiously await the drop. And then it happens! I hear the lever release and instantly I feel as if my stomach is in my chest. Within a second I am back on the ground. Such a rush!
