At least a quarter of the American economy is being controlled by one percent of the population, a situation that economists are describing as unhealthy for the well-being of the citizens.

Economists supporting the great inequality where minority of the population are controlling over a quarter of the country's wealth are suggesting that higher income earned is proportional to high productivity.

Inequality in the division of the national wealth is viewed as creating poverty and crisis in a country.

Inequality in America is viewed as distorting the lifestyle of her citizens as the social class of a person dictates the profession of a person.

The top 1% controlling the American economy have created barriers that prevent the middle and the lower class from rising up economically.
