Religion, politics, ethics should be prohibited to be taught in public schools. Should not be taught in public schools because it could corrupt students’ minds, it could offend people and cause conflict that could result into a very violence senareo between parents vs teachers and teachers vs students and that it would be a big battle and result in the hands of the court.
Teachers should not teach their students about religion, politics, and ethics because it could corrupt students’ minds. If a student with a different religion and background was taught a whole new religion, he or she may have a change in personality and start having beliefs in that taught religion. This could cause conflicts between the student and his or her parents who are very strict towards their religion. In the story of Inherit the Wind, the whole town of Hillsboro is full of corrupted minds because everyone in that town believes in the same stuff. They believe that the bible is always right, “I believe it is not boastful to say that I have studied the bible as much as any layman. If some person with different religious background was being taught about another religion, they maybe offended by what they’re being taught such as different customs beliefs. In the story of Inherit the wind, Bert Cates taught a class about Darwin’s theory of evolution which is against the law. Everyone in the town of Hillsboro was offended by this act and go on a trial on Cates, “You know why I did it. I had the book in my hand, Hunter’s Civic Biology.
