Problem: What is the pH level of each of the liquids.
Materials: Laptop, pH probe, Interface, bottle of clear liquid, bottle of white liquid, bottle of semi-cloudy liquid, paper towels, 2 small beakers.
Procedure: Get a laptop. Take it to your area and open it up. Press and hold the power button until it makes a sound. Take the power wire for the Interface and plug it into the wall. Then plug the USB cable to the Interface and then into the computer. Log in under student and double click on the program LoggerPro. Hook the pH probe into the Interface. Remove bottle of solution of the end of the pH probe. Stick the pH probe in the bottle of white liquid and click on the green, "Collect" button. After thirty seconds click on the red, "Stop" button. Write your data down for that liquid. Clean off the pH probe using your distilled water. Stick the pH probe into the bottle of clear liquid and click on the green, "Collect" button. After thirty seconds click on the red, "Stop" button. Write the data down for that one. Clean the pH probe once again with the distilled water. Stick pH probe into the semi-cloudy liquid and click on the green, "Collect" button. After thirty seconds click on the red, "Stop" button. Write the data down for that liquid too. Clean off the pH probe using the distilled water once again. Put the bottle of solution back on the end of the pH probe. Shut down computer and clean up your area.
