Laptops vs. Desktops
In this world of ever changing technology, sometimes you come face to face with difficult decisions. For instances, you purchase a new computer during the summer, but come Christmas time it is deemed obsolete. Knowing that it is time to buy a new computer, you ask yourself, "Should I buy a desktop or a laptop?" However, laptops are the new fad, but that doesn't mean you should race out to get one before comparing the benefits and drawbacks of each.
Indeed it is nice to have the benefit of portability that a laptop can provide. Which can allow you to take your computer to and from work, on buses, business trips, or just about anywhere your heart desires. Of course this benefit comes with a large drawback, too. Because of this portability, it is just as easy for someone to walk off with your laptop as it is for you. They are stolen at an increasing rate because they are just so easy to steal. The last drawback to purchasing a laptop is that they are far more expensive than a desktop computer. You could own a desktop with twice the power for the price of an average laptop. But is it really worth paying the extra money for the portability of a smaller design? That is the question that you need to ask yourself when shopping for a new computer. Although it may sound fun to take your laptop on a hunting trip, but how offend would you find yourself wanting to type a paper while waiting on the next ten point buck to walk up to the deer feeder?
