  1. Identification of Leader of business:

Rupert Murdoch is a name we listen every time when it comes to world influential leader whereas Rupert Murdoch is known Chairman and CEO News Corporation which is the world Second Largest Media Reporting company whereas Keith Rupert Murdoch was born on 11 March 1931 he is a famous Media mogul he refused to carry on his did company and open his own Private Firm News Limited then he has full control as a chairman and CEO of News Corporation. Its Successor is 21st Century fox and News corp. Before shifting to UK Murdoch also Acquired Numbers of Newspapers in New Zealand and Australia in 1969.

As we know Rupert Murdoch is one of the most successful businessman in world whereas he is a ruthless manager by his power and there is been a scandal taken place as it was hacking but after that his success nurtured by his charismatic arouse both of my interest and admire me to write on it.

  1. Role of Leader in determining and developing the strategies and direction of organization:

Whereas we know implementing corporate strategy requires an effort from the team of company as well leader team, every person has his own responsibilities and they all are involved in changing the management and it’s very important for the company to underhand the role of leader in the strategic implementation.

Involvement: If we want to implement the strategy in company we all need to know the policy and department affected by the program which requires participation of every employee, leaders must identify the department which will be affected by the program and need to take out representative from every group. There should be accountability system which ensures the team meets its timetable for reaching the new strategy and policy in place.

Interest: For implementing the change company will be required to feel urgency on any part of the company its job of management to tell them what is the need of implementing the new Idea. And Leadership will help them to fell the benefits to them and company by implementing the change.

  • Strategic objective enhances organizational efficiency and effectiveness:

Strategic objective can enhance the Company in many Ways.

Effectiveness: Effectiveness can be Referred as Completing the task given in its optimum time and cost there is no cost cut during the make of product and made with the standard quality whereas company use organizational effectiveness to measure many things such as relation between employee performance and company profits to relate the manufacturing process and volume of production. But whereas to achieve a strategic objective we need to use resources effectively and we can avoid too much losses.

Efficiency: we can say about the efficiency of company as how good company use its money and efficiency can be measured as an effectiveness of company raising the fund and expenditure of the organization. Whereas a return on investment consist of a good measure of organization efficiency. for example, if we a sell company stock at $15 per share and a year later it holds a value of $30 the company shows a high degree of inefficiency. Regularly monitoring of efficiency can help business prevent money loss.

The most basic difference between organizational effectiveness and Organizational Efficiency an organization can essentially use to measure anything

Characteristics of Charismatic:

  • Communication: Charismatic Leaders have Extraordinary Skills of Communication they help to motivate the employee through the tough times and helps them to stay calm when situation is good.
  • Confidence: A Charismatic Leaders has a true confident they are comfortable in any situation and understand themselves very well and do not imitate others.
  • Body Language: Charismatic leader’s main identification is there Body language they are warm and open and has a positive body language, whereas they also make eye contact while they talk and smile when they are introducing themselves to new people.
  • Listening Skills: They are very good listener when they are listening to something they never look somewhere else or distracted from anything whereas they listen with interest and engage in conversation with their interest.
  • Self-Improvement:  A charismatic leader knows his qualities which differs him/her from other however these are the qualities which makes him charismatic so they also know how to make them better by time.

Characteristics of Visionary:

  • Vision: Visionary leader are very successful in creating positive and inspirable vision for the future of company and attracts the dedicated follower whereas a visionary leader also understands the meaning and purpose in audience. For that people also feels motivated from the vision he created.
  • Systematized Learning: Visionary Leaders knows that learning can encourage and develop their skills and ability to make effective decisions. They find that learning is motivating and create many opportunities in their career this will lead to highly skills workforce and knowledgeable employee which contributes to the success of company.
  • Innovation: Innovation is very important for every business because to stand up in market we need to try to innovate something new so these leaders encourage creative thinking and problem solving skills in the employee and colleague. They also find better and faster way to achieve success.
  • Building Relationships: Visionary leader always try to buildup relation with their employees whereas leader also possess communication increasingly between him and employees a visionary leader always encourages employee respect them make them to learn team spirit and make a family type atmosphere where they can learn every skill effectively.

We can Clearly say Rupert Murdoch has Charismatic Style of Leadership he has an own Image in front Of People he has an aggressive personal style and has a ruthless business tactics, Murdoch strategy is to Reflect his personal style this strategy has a been almost arrogant and power is rooted in that he also tries not to only control media industry but politician who can change the business environment. If we compare with him with other company’s journalism gives him more flexibility to make judgement. That’s why Murdoch can be considered as a charismatic leader.
