HASEK

His birth certificate says he's 41, but Dominik Hasek is playing as well as he ever has.

The Detroit Red Wings signed Hasek during the summer after the Ottawa Senators let him go after an injury-filled season. He didn't play after the Olympics due to a groin injury sustained in Torino. The Senators let him go as a free agent, and there was speculation he might retire.

Happily for the Red Wings -- and fantasy players who took him -- they signed him. It's been an excellent investment.
