Life or Liberty?
The freedom of what we do with our lives effects us everyday. It effects the way we look, what we say, and how we pursue what we want to do. Life without this freedom would be a dull and glooming day for each of us. We wouldn't have the power to say what we feel, do what we need to do, and be who we want to be. Life without liberty would be like earth without running water. Earth being us and liberty being the running water, we wouldn't have any thing to keep us going, nothing to give us the extra push to do what we want. Life is worth nothing without the liberty to do what we please.
Earth without running water would cause the earth to dehydrate and die. The running water keeps the earth living and well, it helps the world produce the goods that it needs to keep the economy going. Liberty like the water keeps the human growing into something of themselves, it gives human nature the chance to become something that they weren't a minute ago. Life is being able to experience things that you have never dreamt of and feel things that only you can feel. Life is supposed to feel free, not easy but free. Liberty gives us the power to do all that. Life without it would simply be a day of walking, thinking nothing, saying what we are told to say, and believing what we are told to believe. Life without liberty would be like the earth without running water a slow dehydration of freedom.
In life people are gonna say things your not gonna like, and do things your not going to approve of, but everyday you do things that other people don't approve of. People aren't always gonna agree on things as simple as what your wearing and a difficult as religion. Liberty gives us the chance to express this and not feel bad about what we believe or what we do. We are taught right from wrong when we first enter the world and it is then our choice to acknowledge it. As Americans we can choose to disregard the things we are taught, but know to respect the people of which we were taught. Liberty gives us the freedom of choice, and pushes us to believe in our selves, and have consideration and understanding of peoples view points.
