Listening Report - Marilyn Manson

In all 6 (I think) of his other CD's, Manson was just a
weird psychopathic freak. NOT Satanic, everyone
thinks that this man worships the devil. He doesn't. If
you listen to his lyrics, he just believes that god does
not exist (Demonstrated in the song, Posthuman).
He thinks that people get all worked up about doing
what the bible asks, although the bible has never
even been proved to be true. The weirdest part
about this CD is that he isn't all punk, and also
Manson wrote most of the songs, himself. That's a
change since his second CD, which was totally
written by Nothing Records. When he writes his own
stuff again, suddenly his whole style is changed. He
goes from mental psycho-freak to a guy who just
talks about space, and how unfriendly everyone in
the world is to each other (Song: I want to
disappear). He also talks about all of his new
changes like in songs like New Model 15. He still is
strange, and he thinks that since he is so weird, he
must be watching from the outside or some weirdo
hypothesis like that, as demonstrated in most of his
songs (Coma White, Fundamentally Loathsome,
Mechanical Animals, Great Big White World, and
Disassociative) He also agrees that he has a drug
problem (I don't like the drugs but the drugs like
me!) The last thing that he talks about in his songs
