Change only happens when each person makes a decision to implement the change.
Some can say change in the workplace can be a bit annoying and some can say it's a good thing. Knowing the importance of change will demonstrate how to empower others to implement change because some people may see that certain things are not working for their department and change is better. Effectively communicating with everyone and allow them to make decisions that will move their workplace closer to whatever goals they are trying to implement. At my place of employment we do a lot of calibrations to see what we have been doing right, what needs to improve and what things we need to change to better us as a department. Think of change as an opportunity for improvement (CAP).
Trust is earned by those who demonstrate consistent behavior and clearly defined values.
To me trust is like a relationship; don't jump into it. Let me figure you out and if it's something I see myself committing to I will give y all to you. I was drawn to this principal because in order for me to respect them as an individual, they will have to show me loyalty. When I say loyalty meaning someone I can rely on and trust. I like to work in an environment when I can count on others to confide in. The individual has to always be there to support their employees and demonstrate superior skills while leading; this would be an ideal person I could look up too. I have had supervisors and Human Resource managers and the past that were not loyal to their employees and this resulted in me being skeptical when it came to trusting my leadership so easily. Sometimes you can only trust people from different degrees.
People who work are capable of doing much more than they are doing.
Are most workers capable of doing more in the workplace? (Welead) While at work people usually do not give their 100 percent and they have the ability to do way more but they settle to do just enough to get them by. I would rather do much more than I am doing because this will earn respect from people at work, it will show other you are a hard worker and you are working too hard to reach your goals.
