Mark Ch. 6 v. 30-56
In Mark Ch.6 v. 30-56 Jesus is described as someone who is inhumane, and can do anything in the world. When Jesus took it upon himself to feed five thousand men, he worked a miracle indeed. It states, "Taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven, and blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before the people; and he divided the two fish among them all. And all ate and were filled; and they took up twelve baskets full of broken pieces and of the fish" (Mark 6.41). Jesus was able to turn these five loaves of bread and two fish into enough food to feed all of these starving people. This shows that he is able to do anything when it comes to the will of his people.
Jesus shows he will help anyone who needs help at the time; he goes out of his way to help others. In Mark 6.47, Jesus sees men struggling to oar a boat in the windy sea. At this site, Jesus walks onto the sea and gets onto the boat which causes the wind to stop. The men were all utterly surprised that he could have not only walked on water, but stopped the wind as well. This shows again, that Jesus is able to do just about anything. He uses his power to help others when he sees that they are in need of help. He could have simply let these men struggle; however he took it upon himself to help them out because he knew that he had the power to do so.
People began to catch on to the fact that Jesus could indeed work miracles. The people followed him; it states "And wherever he went, into villages or cities or farms, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged him that they might touch even the fringe of his cloak; and all who touched it were healed" (Mark 6.56). Jesus was able to mend the broken, and give health to the sick. Everyone wanted his help, and Jesus was able to help whoever came to him for it. For the simple fact that he reached out to others in need of help, in the case of stopping the wind for the struggling rowers, he was instantly recognized as a healer for all.
These stories show the fact that Jesus worked miracles that people could hardly even comprehend. People were surprised at the fact that he could multiply bread and fish in order to feed the hungry, let alone heal the sick. His generosity toward others was greatly appreciated by all, for it seems everyone was affected by his great powers which he used to help
