Contrary to popular belief, some people still believe in the institution of marriage....There are those who believe in love at first sight and happily ever after...Where the problem occurs is when people get caught up in the fairytale that is usually associated with happily ever after...People tend to seek a brainwashed dilusion of grandure from a hypothetical "I wish" engulfed in a "wouldn't it be great"...In reality, there can be a happily ever after if people would accept the fact that everything cannot always be great in a relationship...There must be rain in-order for things to grow...Remember: Without the rain, we would never learn to appreciate the sun...People need to accept the negative, and have the frame of mind to discuss the negative, in order to see how it has helped to strengthen the bond that is being formed...Also, the fear of failure can cause failure, in the long run...Accept each situation for what it is and try not to look too far beyond the surface of each encounter...NOTE: If you look hard enough for dirt, you will eventually find it...Take life as it is...When you expect more than what is there, you invite depression, doubt, and negativity...When you accept the rose that grew from concrete, you accept the fact that life is full of twists and turns, and the fact that life is all about obstacles and the will to get past them...That is the attitude that is needed for a successful marriage...People ask for a happy marriage...WHY?...What is happiness and how do you truly achieve it?...Socrates said that true happiness is not achieved until old age or death...I know what you are thinking, "Who gives a damn what he had to say? He is outdated because he lived back when there was not a lot

going on."...I say that you are out of line because you are not seeing the complex simpleness of the situation...Socrates lived in a time where there was no talk shows to influence the viewers with society's standards...The ills of the world were not as complex as they are now so there was a moment of clarity in the loud silence in the minds of the inhabitants of mother earth...Now, we have many things clouding our minds to the point where we are judging each other for the expression of the thoughts in our mind...Perfect example of this is the continued public scrutiny of Eminem for his thoughts and opinions...We are a confused society...When Eminem first appeared on the national musical scene, he fell victim to society's attempt
