Aloha! My name is Trisha Briones and I am 25 years old. I am currently a full-time mother, Macy's employee and a full-time student here at the University of Phoenix. I live on the beautiful islands of Hawaii and am fortunate to live in a place like this. But no I don't go to the beach everyday.
I'll be currently taking classes towards getting my Associates degree in Business. I have waited a long time to finish school and have realized that I need to do something in my life that I can be proud of. I know my priorities now and I will finish them. Trying to earn a living here in Hawaii is not an easy thing to do.
I am proud to say that I have a beautiful son and his name is Cayden Noah and he's 3 years old. He is the love of my life and he means the world to me. He keeps me busy everyday and he keeps me on my toes. I love his smile because that's what keeps me going, and to be strong and be there for me as he grows up. My son will be starting preschool next week and I am really scared about leaving him while I go off to work. My life is crazy as it is juggling my son, work, going to school and trying to start my own business.
I must say though that I love what I do and that is being a Makeup Artist. What made me go back to school is because when my son was born I realized that I wouldn't be able to go back to school till my son was a little older and that I didn't want to be one of those people who had a baby and didn't finish college. I wanted to get my education in the way that I know how. For that I have to say that I am amazed at myself for having faith and knowing that I had the motivation to go back to school. Everyone asks me how do you do it? How do you juggle work and school, and your son? I simply tell them that I am a mother and I can multi-task. Doing different things all at once is something that I am used to doing and you just have to work at it.
So this is where I am today and I love my life and living my life to the fullest. I have no regrets from my past and I intend to move forward, learning and growing, making mistakes and learning from them. I am happy with the decisions that I have made because those decisions is what made me who I am today. I will instill the best of my knowledge the things that I know to my son because it's a part of life and I want him to have the life that I never had.
