What is going on with the human? In this days I have been thinking about which point I will write. This is a kind of difficult and complex lecture. It is not so easy to understand and you have to read it a couple of times to get it but after the class I though what kind of life I am living; a life based in ME or in OTHERS.

I think all the Mass Media, special TV, had been changing the way of life or our us. Now we are a manageable mass so easy to manipulate. The made us think we are free in our decisions, nevertheless they made us as they want and that's why we're now just a passive consumers. Little by little they have obtained that we live a life in mass, forgetting the essence of our own person. When we are growing up the only thing we want is be part of one group, and be cool with them. Most of the times this group is the one "in", I mean the ones who the mass media tell us is the cool one. We don't care if those groups are what we really want. And some times this group doesn't have any in common with our personality. With the time you realize that you have your own life ( me ) and want to change that MASS life. Growing older you realize that you cannot base your life on somebody else's opinion and then you start being for yourself.

In the present time is very difficult to find your inner self because we are used to what the media and the society establishes. After you start living your life without what society tries to impose you, the you get the feeling of being selfish and out the game. I believe that we have to balance between "ME" the way I want to live and the way that the "OTHERS" want me to be.

For us, studying this career, it is very probable that we have in our hands the power of the mass media and for that we have in our hands the responsibility of the society. We must be very conscious of all of these points and always have clear, what we want to transmit and in which way, so the essence of the man will never be lost.
