Nowadays, two big companies as Microsoft and Apple are notorious all around the world for their vast distribution of consumer electronics and software. Back in the 90’s these two companies were acknowledged for being business partners and competitors at the same time. The two companies were able to launch their corporate within a short period of each other. Besides these two companies known widely for their products they are also the highest earning main rivals and best innovators in the world. Formerly called: Apple Incorporated, as it was named back in 2007, focuses its efforts on the manufacture and design of consumer electronics identical to mobile phones, personal computers and other software products. Microsoft Corporation on the other hand is an American multinational technology company that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and services.
Apple Incorporated is acclaimed for its personal computer and laptop called the Mac, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and other entertainment gadgets like the iPod, the iPhone and the iPad. The items are being persistently improved and technologically advanced and have been received quite well in the consumer market. Microsoft is prominent for their Operating System, Microsoft windows and the Microsoft Office applications for example: Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel which is popular across companies and educational institutes. In the software market, Apple has produced the Pages, Keynote, and Numbers to battle against Microsoft Office applications. In addition to multimedia software like Final Cut Pro X and Logic Pro X making videos and music producer’s favorite choice to be Apple gadgets. Other inventions from Apples includes the iTunes media browser and the Mac Operating System, nowadays called MacOS High Sierra.
With regard of production and introducing new technologies into the market, these companies have different approach and strategies to ensure they profit at a maximum. Microsoft ambitions to mandate and amass any new feature that enters the market and dominate it. Apple identifies newborn technologies and ideas that are rather unexplored and embrace them to give them the appeal of a new market style and possibly satisfy the needs of the greater market, which in turn can hurt the company as it happened back in 2016 when Apple removed the headphone jack on the iPhone 7. Microsoft on the other hand, identifies formerly established technologies and ideas and proceeds to embrace them and constantly, take all of their success. It is possible for Microsoft to do this since it has an enormous capital and budget, making them capable of dealing with its competition and thus gaining the market.
