Science has been part of human nature, since man first existed. We have always wondered why the world was, this carries on deeply today. Us as a species has never been satisfied with what we know, we always try to find a answer, to further our knowledge. I guess this is what might as well keep the human race going, our desire to know everything. This desire of knowledge always brings the subject of space. The CAI is a way of me getting to explore the question that seem to come to me by nature. This subject has although not very much to do with my future after college, I plan on studying bossiness. But once I heard of this exciting program it brought new interest to me, Sort of a dim fire that was about to put out. When my teacher told me about this program, that fire became ablaze and my interest renew. That is the kind of thing that keeps me dedicated to something. When something catches my interest I feel I must get to know more and more, until I have nothing else to know about it. Computer has been something I have loved for some time now, once it got my interest I tried to learn everything I could about, and I am still learning more and more. I truly think this skill will most helpful with basically anything that has to do with science.
As I was talking about early, that dim fire. My interest about the field first started when I was n 7th grade. I had a great teacher that rather then lecture us with pointless information, he would talk about what everyone wonders about space. He would always get off the subject, and he would say how he wishes he could be a college professor, so he could be allowed to teach more about the subject. Everyday I would get more and more interested. But then after the year ended, it would have been sometime until I would have had a teacher to review this subject. Once I entered 9th grade I was taking intergraded science. By this time I had pretty much given up on science, and felt myself wasting time. During the middle of the year we start to change the subject for biology, so space. That fire I was talking about started to again burn. But we just touched on the subject and quickly moved on. This brings me to now that same teacher I had told my homeroom about this new program over the summer about astrophysics. I knew this would be my only chance, to get finally learn what I have been waiting to talk about in school. That same day I took the application and started reviewing it.
